This was the contract were on leading up to Christmas. It consisted of concrete block retaining walls to level garden and provide lawn and large area of paved garden for excellent spring and summer space. We also had to reduce four large concrete manholes to accommodate better looking recessed lids.

This Garden in Rotherham, had major problems due to a sloping site, rising over 8m. To tackle this a number of levels were created using gabions, retaining sleeper walls and random yorkstone walls and steps

At the end of our first lockdown we managed to complete this lovely garden. What a transformation!! Large stone edged borders bright pebble path leading to an oval paved area done in Raj indian sandstone and a lovely spacious potting shed. Finished off with a rockery obscuring brickwork and a sizeable area of lawn.

This garden had loads of potential, it was large with a lovely back drop onto the wood surrounding Shirebrook valley. It needed a large pond filling in, stone beds moving and a number of structures and wall removing to prepare the Garden for a new lease of life. The renovation would include large stone walled borders along the length of the garden. New double paling fencing a spacious and practical potting shed and a meandering crunching pebble path leading to paved area.

Reclaimed bricks used to give that interesting non uniform random feel which adds so much to this garden design

To create a level play area for a lovely family, we were asked to build a retaining wall with steps and brick raised bed planters. We used trafford red reclaimed bricks from Hardcores in Sheffield

This project took place around During a bout of very bad weather. The client wanted some dangerously constructed and slippy decking removed and replaced with Indian sandstone. we also replaces the rotten sleeper wall and fencing.

We have now removed the old sleeper wall and decking and replaced it. So no more sliding around. Materials from Paving is from Hardcores Sheffield, fencing products from Hillsborough fencing and sleepers from Arnold Lavers

It was a shady site, so the plants selected consisted of, shade loving hellebores, Fatsia Japonic, Taxus Baccata fastigia, heucheria, magnolia, and  an acer

Lovely forrest path through rhododendrons. The path was infilled using granite dust instead of limestone so as nothing would interfere with the acidity of soil. The timber was supplied by Arnold Lavers and the granite dust by Hardcores in Hillsborough.

Following the design instructions of this client we were able to produce a visually satisfying and well thought through garden plan. It is always inspiration to return and see the progress of this wonderful garden designer and grower.
